چکیده

While it is commonly observed that the shape dynamics of mammalian cells can undergo large random fluctuations, theoretical models aiming at capturing cell mechanics often focus on deterministic part motion. In this paper, we present a framework couples an active gel model mechanical scaffold with complex metabolic system stochastically delivering chemical energy needed to sustain stress in scaffold. Our closure assumption setting magnitude fluctuations chemo-mechanical free controlled target homeostatic value. rationalizes experimental observation depend environment constraints cell. We apply our simple case migrating one dimensional track successfully capture different regimes mean square displacement along as well long time scale effective diffusive motion
